Whether you want to lose body fat from your hips and
thighs, tone up your tummy, or banish those bingo wings, the exercises below
will see you on your way to slender perfection!
Abs/Tummy
'Most people think about working their rectus abdominus
when they want to achieve a flat stomach (that's the six pack area). But there's
a hidden secret behind any decent six pack. It's called the TVA and is a flat
sheet like muscle which lies behind the rectus abdominis (or the abs). In fact,
the best exercise for the TVA is to sit up nice and straight in every day life
and contract the muscle by holding it in. If we can remember to do this, it
makes a hell of a lot of difference when it comes to working out. The following
exercises are great for all round tummy toning;
*Ab roll using Swiss Ball
Place your hands on the ball in front of you, arms

arching or straining the back. Push the elbows into the ball and squeeze the abs
to pull the body back to start. Avoid this move if you have back problems.
Repeat for 3 sets of 12.
*Swiss Ball crunches Lie on your ball in the normal crunch
position.
Place your hands by your ears with elbows pointing
outwards. Slowly lift your shoulders off the ball, tightening your abs as you do
so. Lower down carefully. Repeat for 3 sets of 12 ...
